Decided that the higher up military goes the more pointless it is to continue reps, plus my form is so much better on singles. Pull ups are getting pretty strong, specially when they aren't fresh. This weeks gonna be tough, not looking forward to squats...
Nice idea with the military, maybe get a set plan in place so you can get a good mix of intensity and volume without always doing singles? You could say 'I'm going to get 6 reps on my top weight' whether that is 6x1, 3x2,2x3 or whatever, just probably a good idea to make sure you're adding poundage every week to ensure you keep up with the program
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm open to ideas, I think as long as I'm doing decent accessory exercises my military will continue to feel stronger, specially the dumbell presses
ReplyDeleteJust do whatever you're doing for cleans for military and it's sorted. You'll be lifting more than me overhead in a month or two, like a bawce. +20kg pullups is no joke... coppin 'mires?
