Just focus on a few things, you cant coach yourself as well as Miles, but maybe try to really hammer down some things you've been struggling with? like say ok going to absolutey get foot placing right on every clean and jerk. then when he gets back at least your feet will snap to the right places if nothing else :~> btw i'm in love with clean pulls - was 120 EZ?
Yeah Grant's getting pretty mad at Snap haha, and rightly so it sounds absolutely horrid.
ReplyDeleteClean pulls are amazing man, I have no idea how heavy I can go on them but 120kg felt pretty standard, busting out reps of 5 too geezy I just hope my forms ok, but too be honest it's a strength exercise so I'm too fussed if it's a little off, the main thing is that I'm pulling a heavy weight in the same motion as a clean.
I am going to start ramping up my squats because I realise I haven't hit a PB since starting at Cougars cause I was so focused on technique. I'm thinking of going for a back squat PB and maybe a military, we'll see. Keen up!!!
oathhh, doing squats last would hurt it as well, mad fatiguez. I need some more bumper plates but they are expensive as fuark, like $220 for the cheapest pair of 25s i can find. Pretty keen though because literally that shitty bar is going to break soon... fairly certain I could hit some pretty clean pulls with 140 if i had the weight on there, been capped at 127 for a month now :<
